Love It!
Easy to use and allows for me to take as many pictures and videos of different events with my iPhone and never have to worry about running out of storage.
Originally purchased it for a trip to Disney World to take pics and videos and ended up using it at work each day. I do not know what I would do without it.

Great - but needs one fix
We have used this for several years and it works as advertised. However there is a problem. We do not delete photos from the iPhone after transfer. This is a precaution in case the ixpand fails. The problem is that after a 1,000 or 2,000 photos are stored on the ixpand, it takes tens of minutes for the ixpand to figure out what's been backed up and what hasn't. There needs to be a way to select the new photos that need backing up in a sane way and bypass the slow search. You can, of course, select wha to back up - but the selection is on a photo by photo basis which is useless when we shoot 500 or more a day. If this one feature could be added, this would go from good to terrific in a flash. I hope Sandisk monitors this so they think about adding a 'select a day to back up' option.
Best!

Disappointed
I bought this drive to transfer embroidery designs from my iPad to my laptop or to the embroidery machine. Most of the time, I get a message that it did not connect. I don’t know if it is defective or if I’m using it wrong. I unzip the files in a ZipTool app. When I transfer them by “opening in” the SanDisk app, sometimes I get a message that one file has been added and sometimes it just goes back to the ZipTool app. In any case, I thought I would be able to periodically select all files that have been unzipped on my iPad and batch transfer them all to this drive for transfer to my laptop. This is very difficult to use and takes a long time. It’s not like taking things off my laptop onto a regular thumb five.
